David Dybas
Audit Manager
David's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science
in Business Economics, obtained from State University College,
Oneonta, New York in 1984 and a Certificate in Accountancy from
National University in December of 1999. Before joining
Price, Paige & Company, David worked in commercial retail
management for over 15 years, where he was responsible for the
daily operations of a branch of a multi-million dollar retailer.
At Price, Paige & Company, David practices exclusively in
nonprofit and governmental audits, including Single Audits under
OMB Circular A-133. He has planned, performed and supervised
a number of audit engagements ranging in size from under one
million dollars to over $100 million dollars. David is
very familiar with generally accepted accounting principles for
both governmental and nonprofit agencies and has extensive experience
in compiling and auditing the related financial statements. David
has done substantial grant compliance work on both federal and
state programs and is very effective in communicating with granting
agencies to resolve difficult issues. He has also conducted agreed-upon
procedures engagements and forensic investigations for various
entities. David supervises the tax preparation for all
of the Firm’s nonprofit clients and has extensive experience
in preparing Forms 990 and 199.
David is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public
Accountants.
