John graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in accounting. He has worked in public accounting more than 30 years, and was one of the original founders of the firm established in 1976.
John has considerable experience in income tax planning for
individuals and closely-held businesses, corporate liquidations
and stock redemptions. John prides himself on developing and
implementing practical, effective solutions to existing or potential
income tax issues, and strategies for minimizing income and estate
taxes. He often assists with issues related to business planning,
always with a view toward helping clients achieve their financial
objectives.
John has substantial experience representing his clients in disputes
with various taxing authorities, including the Internal Revenue
Service, Franchise Tax Board, and the Employment Development
Department.
John stays current in tax planning trends and techniques by attending
many classes and seminars, some of which include courses relating
to corporate liquidations, retirement planning, and financial
strategies.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA's.
